• Fall weather is unpredictable; there are days that are warm while others have chilly nights. You should carry extra coats to cater for the fluctuations in temperature.

• The Peggy Guggenheim Museum

The enormous collection of Peggy Guggenheim, the artist Max Ernst’s ex-wife, is on display for everyone to see in one of Venice’s most popular museums. Numerous pieces by artists from Italy, Spain, and the US are on display, including works by Picasso and Jackson Pollock.

• Remember to include a good coat, gloves, scarf, and hat for cold winter months in Venice, as temperatures drop drastically and it can get chilly.
• In Venice, it occasionally rains, and more often than not, there is quite a lot of dampness during the winter season. It is important for one to have waterproof shoes or boots as well as an umbrella.
