1. Tre Cime di Lavaredo

Also known as the “Drei Zinnen” mountain range, it is home to three separate peaks in the Sexten Dolomites that are regarded as some of the best in the Alps, with picturesque views and landscapes to provide.

Transportation

If you take a car, go through the SS49 road towards Misurina that is nestled at the north of the town and then follow the toll road to get the ticket and visit the parking area near Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

2. Passo Gardena

Literally translated, “Garden Pass” is a mountain pass in the northeastern Italian region of South Tyrol’s Dolomites. It provides a unique combination of breathtaking scenery, outdoor pursuits, and a dash of culture. It is well known for its ski tops, which you can sample.

Transportation

All you need is a “Mobilecard,” which you can purchase online or from a ticket machine at a nearby train station to ride the cable cars and trains operated by the South Tylorean Transport Association. Additionally, lanes 460, 460-S, N460, or 465 can be used to board the bus.

During the summer months, there are also shuttle buses from Dobbiaco and Villabassa to Lake Braies.
