SEGV’S RECOMMENDATION – Night markets are a prominent cultural feature of Malaysia and a great place to explore the local lifestyle. To make space for the makeshift night markets, a section of the residential neighbourhoods are closed down for traffic and the streets are occupied by hawkers selling everything from fresh fruits to clothes and accessories. Jalan Alor is one such night market famous for its delicious and low-priced street food. The market is famous for tasty coconut ice-cream and mouth-watering sea food and is a haven for food lovers.
