TOUR Itinerary
On arrival at Almaty, you will be met by our local representative. After a brief meet and greet at the airport, we proceed to the Hotel by bus. We will then proceed to check-in at hotel and spend the rest of the day for Leisure.
Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan with a population of 2 million. Previously, Almaty served as both the capital of Kazakhstan’s independent state and the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (1991–97). At an elevation of 2,300–3,000 feet (700–900 metres), it is situated in the northern Trans-Ili Alatau foothills, where the Bolshaya and Malaya Almaatinka rivers burst onto the plain.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Shymbulak ski resort by a spectacular drive followed by the famous 3 tier cableway. Enroute, we will take a short stop-over at the Medeu Skating rink – a famous skating rink where hundreds of world records were set.
Afterwards, we will continue our journey through the Tian Shan Mountains to Shymbulak Ski Resort. The resort is considered to be one of the best ski resorts in Central Asia. Once at the ski resort, explore skiing, snowboarding, or just admiring the stunning views. An all-day entertainment for the whole family with activities such as Zip Lining, Paragliding, Horse riding etc.
In the Evening, walk around Panfilov promenade. The promenade which overlooks the Kazakh Opera & Ballet theatre is lined with small shops, eateries, and cafes & beautiful lights. You will enjoy hearing many local musicians singing songs & playing local musical instruments. The tour will end on Arbat street with lots of shopping outlets and street entertainment.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for a city tour of Almaty.
We begin the tour, with a panoramic tour featuring the First President Park, Republic square, State Opera and Ballet Theatre, Museums at the Academy of Sciences, Abay Square, etc.
Afterwards, visit Panfilov Park – a lovely green space in the heart of the city. The park is home to the striking Zenkov Cathedral, a colorful and beautifully designed Russian Orthodox church. Take your time to explore the park’s serene atmosphere and admire the architectural splendor of the cathedral. The Park is named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soldiers of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are etched at the fearsome war memorial which depict soldiers from all 15 soviet republics on the map of USSR.
Later, proceed to the Kok-Tobe Hills, which offer panoramic views of Almaty city. Visitors can take a cable car up to the hill and enjoy the views from the observation deck or explore the area, which includes a park, a restaurant, and a souvenir market. There is a 372 meters tall TV Tower at the foot of the mountain visible from most parts of the city.
In the Evening, Visit the oldest chocolate manufacturer, Rakhat, which has been in business for approximately 70 years. The factory is situated along Zenkova Street, and by simply inhaling the air’s pleasant perfume, you can travel to Rakhat’s golden gates. Here you will find not only dried fruits, honey and sweets. There is also a large area where clothes and souvenirs for all tastes and choices.
Afterwards, proceed to explore the Green Bazaar. It is the first major place of trade. Green Market is a typical local market where you can purchase everything starting from meat to spices to fruits to even clothes and furniture. The key to shopping here is that you should have a flair for bargaining, and you can get everything at a very reasonable rate.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and spend some time exploring the city in your free time. Proceed to the Airport to board our flight back to India.
